Assalamu Alaikum.My name is Narmeen Omar. I am an author and founder of BasmaBooks.com. Growing up bilingual, I experienced the magic of reading in both Arabic and English, yet I often struggled to find stories that truly connected these two worlds. I wanted to change that, so I created Basma Books—a place where stories bridge cultures, celebrate heritage, and bring a smile to every page.The inspiration for these stories began with my grandchildren. I wanted to teach them Arabic in a way that was vibrant and engaging, so I started writing unique tales filled with colorful illustrations, large fonts, playful animals, and exciting sounds. Seeing their joy and curiosity sparked the dream of sharing these books with other families, making Arabic learning a fun and unforgettable experience.
